Current Shaft Range

Elastomer Range

Nitrile
· Excellent with most mineral oils and greases
· Recommended for continuous operation at temperatures from 65    to 225 F
· (-54 to 107 C)
· Also works in dry running applications

Viton
· Premium material for the widest temperature range
· Will handle temperatures from 40 to 400 F (-40 to 204 C)
· Extreme resistance to abrasion and high temperatures

Silicone
· For high / low temperature ranges and low friction applications
· Can operate at temperatures ranging from 100 to 325 F (-73 to   163 C)
· High lubricant absorbency of silicone minimizes friction and wear

Polyacrylic
· For use with EP lubricants or higher operating temperatures
· Polyacrylate elastomers have good compatibility with higher   temperatures - up to 300 F (177 C)
· Well-suited for use with extreme pressure lubricants and higher resistance to oxidation and ozone.

PTFE

· Highly inert to a wide range of chemicals - mineral acids and bases,   common organic fluids and solvents, at extremes of temperatures
· Very low coefficient of friction among sealing materials.
· Wide operating temperature range of -100 to +300 C.
· Dry run capability.
