Fenner India is a pioneer in Mechanical Power
Transmission products in India. In 1929, Fenner started its operations
in India as a trading company. Fenner was incorporated in 1955 as
a subsidiary of Fenner International, UK under the name Fenner Cockill
Limited. Its first plant was set up at Madurai, the Temple
City, in Tamil Nadu. The company's name was changed to Fenner
(India) Limited in 1975. The JK Group acquired Fenner India Limited
in 1987 when it became an associate company of the JK Organisation.
In 2004 Fenner India became a member of the JK Organisation.
The
JK Organisation has a history of over 100 years.
The JK Organisation is one of the largest Industrial Groups in India
with very diversified manufacturing activities, such as Automobile Tyres
& Tubes, Cement, Cotton, Woolen and Jute Textiles, Agrochemicals,
Hybrid Seeds, Power Transmission - Industrial and Automotive V-Belts,
Oil Seals, Petrochemicals, Drugs and Pharmaceuticals, Paper, etc.

Over the years Fenner India has gone into expansions by setting
up manufacturing facilities at Hyderabad and Chennai and diversified
